I don't sleep well and I'm aware that I haven't had a consistently good sleep pattern for several years.

Insomnia seems to be an issue and I was once mis diagnosed with sleep apnoea. It hasn't been something that I have been overly concerned about until now. Yet there has been an increasing awareness of the long term effect that this can have on a persons health and recently I have started to demonstrate the effects of long term sleep disruption.

Then I came across an article about this very issue, brought into public view by a soon to be released documentary that happens to include an Australian political figure who has been in the news recently for other reasons. To use a terrible pun, this article is a real 'wake up call' and could be a useful read for many people.
