The Pandemic might be almost forgotten, but the dramatic shift in workplace norms it created has let to an unprecedented decline in tenancy rates for office and retail spaces. Whilst the advent of on line shopping gave rise to the slow decline in traditional retail sales, it has been accelerated by the absence of employees from their work place. If some large traditional department stores have been feeling the crunch, more often than not it has been small business that did not weather the storm.
